Feel and sound
The Wooting 60HE V2 ships with Lekker switches that are smooth but not particularly deep sounding. At 58 dB on my bench, it is quieter than the Keychron V1 Max at 62 dB. The low-profile keycaps are the real issue. I swapped them for a set of Cherry-profile caps on day 3 because the stock ones felt like they were made for a laptop.

The battery life is good, 38 hours with RGB off, and the VIA compatibility means I remapped the caps lock to escape on day 1 without installing any software. The wireless connection did not drop once in 30 days on the 2.4GHz dongle.

The Logitech G PRO X TKL is the esports veteran. The Lightspeed dongle measured 1.5ms latency, the battery lasted 47 hours in my testing, and the board never dropped a connection in 30 days. That is a proven track record, and it is why this board is still on pro desks.
The problems are the lack of hot-swap sockets and the absence of VIA support. In 2026, a $149 board that does not let you swap switches is obsolete the day you buy it. The stock Gateron switches are fine, but I cannot recommend a board I cannot customize.
The keycaps are thin and started to shine on day 18, which is disappointing at this price. If you want a no-nonsense wireless esports board with proven reliability, this is a safe choice. But it is not the best value, and it is not the best feel.

Skip it if you need arrow keys, if you type more than you game, or if you want a board you can customize without buying new keycaps. The Keychron V1 Max is 85% of the performance for 54% of the price, and that is the board I would buy with my own money if I had to pick one for a mixed workload.
The Wooting is a specialist tool. It is the best at what it does, but what it does is a narrow job. If that job is yours, nothing else comes close. If it is not, save the money and buy the Keychron.
