How I Tested

This is the $24.95 kit that I wanted to hate. The "patented precision tool" sounded like marketing nonsense. It is a metal pick with a rubber tip, and it is actually the best tool I have used for getting between switches.
The kit includes the precision tool, a brush, a cleaning solution, and several cloths. The solution is a mild cleaner that does not leave residue, and the brush is decent. But the precision tool is the reason to buy this kit.
I used it on my Keychron V1, which has a tight plate gap that collects dust and pet hair. The rubber tip dislodged everything without scratching the PCB or the plate. It is the only tool I have tested that can do this.
The price is the problem. $24.95 is a lot for what is essentially a fancy toothpick with accessories. If you clean your keyboard every month, this kit will last you years and the cost per day is about 7 cents. If you clean twice a year, buy the $4.99 kit and call it a day.
Compared To
The $24.95 Germ Geek kit versus the $4.99 6PCS kit is not a fair fight. The Germ Geek precision tool is objectively better at the one job it does, getting debris out of tight gaps. But for the average person who just wants to clean a keyboard without thinking about it, the 6PCS kit gets you 80% of the way there for 20% of the price.

The Method, Step by Step
Here is the 20-minute deep clean. No shortcuts, no gimmicks.
Take a photo of your keyboard first. You will thank me when you are putting the keycaps back on and trying to remember which row the F key came from.
Pull the keycaps with the wire puller. Work from the outside in so you do not accidentally pop a switch. Put the keycaps in a bowl of warm water with a drop of dish soap. Let them soak while you clean the board.
Brush the plate with the stiff brush from the Upgraded kit or the precision tool from the Germ Geek kit. The goal is to dislodge dust and debris, not to scrub. You are not trying to polish the PCB.
Wipe the plate with a microfiber cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Do not soak it. A damp cloth, not a wet cloth.

Put the keycaps back on. Press each one down until it clicks into place. If a stabilizer rattles, you did not put the keycap on straight. Pull it and try again.

Should You Buy It?
If you own a mechanical keyboard, you should own a wire keycap puller and a decent brush. The stainless steel puller and the Upgraded kit cover both for under $16. That is the setup I keep on my bench.
If you only clean your keyboard when you remember it exists, buy the $4.99 6PCS kit and move on. You are not going to use it enough to justify the $24.95 Germ Geek kit.
